What Is a Print and Digital Textbook Bundle?

A print and digital textbook bundle combines a physical book with a matching digital edition upgrade, bundled together and sold as a single unit. Instead of choosing between a print textbook and an eBook, you get both: the durability and readability of a printed mathematics textbook for serious study, plus the portability and searchability of a digital copy you can carry on any device. It is the simplest way to buy a textbook online when you want a hard copy on your shelf and a digital version in your bag.

How the Bundles Work

Choose a title from the collection below and select the digital access term that fits the way you study. Your print copy ships as a standard physical order. Your digital edition is sent to you by email by our team, so please allow up to one business day to receive it. The digital file is provided in Readium LCP (Licensed Content Protection) format, an open, interoperable, and secure eBook standard supported by a broad ecosystem of free reading applications, including Thorium Reader on desktop and Aldiko Next on mobile. To open the book, you enter your LCP passphrase, which is your Order Number, in your reading app. Because the standard is open rather than locked to a single device or store, you are free to read your digital textbook on the Readium-compliant app you prefer.

Choose Your Digital Access Term

Every bundle offers three digital access terms so you only pay for the length of access you actually need:

• 6-month access — affordable short-term digital access, ideal for a single course, a one-semester class, or a focused review period.
• 12-month access — a full year of digital access at strong value, well suited to year-long courses, comprehensive exams, and ongoing study.
• Lifetime access — permanent digital access that never expires, the best long-term value for a reference you will return to for years.

For the 6-month and 12-month terms, your digital access period begins only when you unlock the book by entering your LCP passphrase in your reader app, not at the moment you place your order. That means you can buy your bundle early, before classes start, without losing a single day of access. Lifetime access never expires, so there is no countdown to track at all.

On a computer, Thorium Reader is a popular free choice for Windows, macOS, and Linux. On mobile, Aldiko Next supports both Android and iOS. Any other reading application that supports the Readium LCP standard will also open your file. Adobe DRM Format — By Request Only

We also offer an Adobe DRM edition, a newer Adobe encryption scheme with stronger protection that supports both EPUB and PDF files. Because many readers found it more difficult to set up and use, we no longer list it on the site by default and supply the Readium LCP edition as our standard format. If Adobe DRM is genuinely the better fit for your reading setup, you are welcome to contact us and we will provide the Adobe format on request.

Please note that support for the Adobe format is limited. As of July 2025, Adobe's eBook platform, including Adobe Content Server and Adobe Digital Editions, transitioned to a new provider, Harman, so updates and technical assistance are now handled outside of Adobe. For these reasons the Adobe edition is a request-only option, and for most customers we recommend Readium LCP.
